About the TOC

Zander and his sons Drew and Anders Blewett, from the Montana personal injury law firm of Hoyt and Blewett PLLC in Great Falls, are sponsoring the 5th annual Tournament of Champions. The event will be a one-day, single elimination wrestling tournament that will take place at the Paris Gibson Education Center on Saturday, February 16, 2013, one week after the All-Class State Tournament in Billings (Feb. 8-9).

With three seperate high school divisions, Montana wrestling fans for years were prevented from watching Montana's top wrestlers square off. The TOC has created an opportunity for the best of the best to battle it out and crown a true Montana State champion at each weight. The TOC is a tribute to the fans, coaches and wrestlers who make this sport great.

All wrestlers and coaches will be housed at the Town House Inn free of charge and every vehicle used to transport a wrestler will be compensated for their gas mileage.

Who: The winners of each weight class in AA, A, B/C, plus one wildcard

Where: Paris Gibson Education Center - 2400 Central Ave.

When: Sat., Feb. 16, 2013 (the week after State)
1st session: 10:00 a.m., 2nd session: 12 p.m.
Weigh-ins Sat., Feb. 16, 2013 (8-9 a.m.)
5 lb. weight allowance from the highest weight allowed at the State Tournament

Why: To resolve all debates about who is king of the mat.
